FfS Demo [0.5.2] – bug fixes
Thanks for the early feedback on the demo by CoronaVitae, who spotted a pretty major issue that came about if you rolled into a specific type of slope (an 8px diagonal collision under an 8px square collision block). You'd find yourself, most probably, transported into a wall on the far left of the scene. These combinations could be found in places in The Pit and The Last Train areas.
It turned out this was due to the engine not liking a combination of the height that the character’s hit box changed to when rolling and when that meets with a single diagonal collision. Both changes since v0.5 (slopes introduced and improved hit box sizes).
In fixing this I noticed a couple issues with the portal cube, if thrown while next to a wall and facing it, so collisions should be a bit more robust now. (I'm not sure how many people have found this and used it yet).

Fixed
- Fixed gaps in collisions to the broken ship's top right
- Fixed issue with slopes, a single diagonal slope would break when rolled into, player hitbox height increased when rolling.
- Fixed issue with portal cube throwing when next to a wall and facing away and sometimes towards
- Fades forced to black when restarting a game
- Key chest in Shoppo script lock added to not miss first piece of dialogue
Aside from that, I've been working on artwork and scripting for cutscenes that give some mid game revelations!
