v1.8, fairly substantial changes working to a full v2 release
Tales of Monsterland v1.8
A lot of changes, while plenty left before a 'closer to final' v2, I wanted to push out this version as it contains some fixes and improvements to game mechanics.
- Tower area opened up, new floors (one left to add with boss), final area added into tower top floor
- Enemies now have a (quite high) chance of dropping a healing item
- Collect hidden lives, bringing it up to a maximum possible ten lives (is this too easy now with the healing?)
- Three continues
- Coin & item placement changed, now only need 90 coins to buy the final potion (allowing 10 coins not to be found unless a completionist)
- Monsters & boss health won't reset on pausing/selecting
The sky/space areas need filling with more items and underwater is perhaps a bit boring, also coin placement isn't final and more will be added.
